SCREEN SAVER
REASON:
It may be necessary to disable the computer screen saver to
help prevent issues or interruptions with other programs.
It may be necessary to enable the computer screen saver to
enable password protection while away from the computer or to help prevent
screen damage on older computer monitors.

HOW TO DISABLE A
MICROSOFT WINDOWS SCREEN SAVER FROM RUNNING
To disable a screen saver in Microsoft Windows follow the
below instructions:
METHOD 1

Click
Start
·
Click
on Control Panel
·
Double-click
on the display icon
·
Click
the screen saver tab
·
From
the list of screen savers Select (None) as the screen saver choice.

Click
on Apply
·
Click
Ok
METHOD 2
·
Right-click
on an empty area on windows desktop (blank area)
·
Click
on properties
·
Click
on Screen Saver tab
·
From
the list of screen savers Select (None) as the screen saver choice.

Click
Apply

Click
Ok
HOW TO ENABLE A
MICROSOFT WINDOWS SCREEN SAVER
METHOD 1:

Click Start
·
Control
Panel
·
Double-click on the display icon
·
Click the screen saver tab
·
From the screen saver list Select the screen
saver you wish to enable or use
·
Then click Apply button or OK button
METHOD 2:
·
Right-click
on an empty area on windows desktop (blank area)

Click
properties
·
Click
on Screen Saver tab
·
Click
the screen saver you wish to enable, from the list of screen savers.
·
Click
on Apply then click Ok
NOTE: To see how the screen saver appears
on your screen is full, click preview. To
end the preview, move the mouse or press any key.
The screen saver starts if your computer is idle for a number
of minutes specified in the wait box.
To clear the screen saver after it has stated, move your
mouse or press any key on the keyboard.
