Microsoft Windows is multitasking operating system software that allows multiple
applications to run or execute task on its interface. For example, in windows
environment, a user can perform the task of playing and Audio CD while he/she
is typing a document.
Microsoft Windows is an operating environment created by Microsoft that provides an
interface known as Graphical User
Interface (GUI) for IBM compatible computers. Windows eliminates the need
for a user to have to type a command at a command line, like Ms-DOS, by using a
mouse to navigate through drop-down menus, dialog boxes, buttons, tabs and
icons.
